The Unicorn Tapestries

I am just constantly in awe of all the stages that went into the creation of these tapestries--from the commissioning to the cartoons to the dyeing of the yarn to the weaving to finally their display. Textile is such a fragile material in the scheme of things and the fact that these--all of these!--have survived centuries will literally never fail to impress me.
